Is Putin dead or alive? The alternative media was abuzz for several days as Putin has not made any public appearance for 10 days. Apparently, the mystery of Putin’s disappearance act started with a post on Debkafile purporting that he is dead. The post was subsequently taken down, but the rumours continue to spread as Putin remains mysteriously absent in scheduled public functions. The consequences of Putin’s demise during these times of Cold War has the potential effect of turning the world’s political scene into a terrifying cauldron of military conflicts.
Israel’s Haaretz even reported that Israel’s former ambassador to Russia, Zvi Magen said that there are signs of a military coup in Russia. He believed that army factions or wealthy businessmen could be behind Putin’s disappearance. Rumours abound. The mystery deepens: Is Putin dead? Was there a coup that took him off? Is he on “paternity leave? Is he preparing for war?
Is Putin dead? There is always a possibility that he could suddenly die. This could come for assassination attempts on his life. Putin is both loved and hated. When Putin was at the G20 meeting in Brisbane last year, the Daily Mail reported that Putin was paranoid that he may be poisoned that he had someone checked that his food was not poisoned. Was it paranoia or did Putin received threats to poison him? There are enough people out there wanting him dead.
Was there a coup? Coup attempts in Russia are real. According to Wikipedia, “the 1991 Soviet coup d’état attempt, also known as the August Putsch or August Coup (Russian: Августовский путч Avgustovsky Putch), was a coup d’état attempt by a group of members of the Soviet Union’s government to take control of the country from Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev.” The Soviet power base is shifting like quicksands. Putin has one of the highest public support in history. But that does not preclude the possibility of a coup attempt. Sanctions by the West were intended to force him out of office. These same people could be behind a coup attempt.
Is he on “paternity leave? Speculation was rife that he fathered a child with Alina Kabaeva and has flown to Switzerland to be with her for the birth. He may have fathered a child, but to have a clandestine visit is too preposterous at a time when tensions are high.
Is he preparing for war? The war drums had been beating to a crescendo in recent times. That the Kremlin is preparing for a major war is a likely scenario. According to news that just came in from MOSCOW (Sputnik), “Russian President Vladimir Putin gave the order to bring the country’s Northern Fleet to full alert in a snap combat readiness exercise Monday.”
Finally, according to Zerohedge’s headlines just published, “Putin Reappears, Puts 40,000 Troops On Full Alert As Part Of “Snap-Readiness Exercises”. That sounds like Putin is well and alive and very much on a war footing.
Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
