Obama’s Selfie Take

obama-buzzfeed-620x362jpg-64c55eaf8f41631aEveryone has the right to have light moments, let the hair down so to speak. Presidents and kings are no more different from the common man on the streets. There are times to be serious. And there are times to relax and enjoy the simple things in life, like smelling the flowers and enjoying the company of family and friends. The tendency is to set different standards for different groups of people in the human-created caste system. There are behavioral forms and norms that are not acceptable to certain groups, but are acceptable when applied to another group. What would your reaction be watching Obama’s latest Obamacare promotion selfie (read “Selfie – The Selfish Me)?

Obama’s monkeying around a selfie-stick certainly got tongues wagging all over the globe. In a Buzzfeed video (watch here), Obama makes silly faces, puts on an aviator sunglasses and did a finger-gun “bang”. He dunks a cookie in a milk glass followed with a “Thanks Obama” remark. Some may see this as funny, others find their stomachs churn. The President surely has his right to have that few light-hearted moments just as would anyone else would. Cynics see a totally different view beyond the playful scenes. He is mocking people at the Obamacare program (Affordable Care Act).

He animated a ” I got you” as he squinted past his dark glasses and finishes with his finger-gun shot. Finally, he sarcastically said “thanks Obama” after failing to dunk his cookie into the milk glass. The message: Obamacare doesn’t fit in, nevertheless, “thanks Obama” anyway. Sarcasm doesn’t end here, what he said next seals the message, “In many cases, you can get health insurance for less than $100 a month, just go to HealthCare.gov to figure out how to sign up.” He left you wondering with the problem!

Selfie Clip – Pet Goat II

Is this analysis of the clip too prejudiced? After all, Obama is just trying to sell his health care program. He is trying to be cool to woo the younger Americans to the program. He was advised by media gurus to use the ever-engaging selfie for the promotion. Most of all, he thinks it is the best for Americans.Whether or not Obamacare is good for Americans had already been hotly debated on social media. Ultimately, there is no “one size fits all” solution. There will be consenters and detractors. The verdict is still out there.

What is interesting in the video clip is the apparent hidden message that seems to be encapsulated within. It doesn’t appear to be just another simple and funny message. The clip exudes a powerful scent of occultism. Just as in the mass audience shows featured in the Super Bowl events, Grammy awards, Olympic games etc., hidden messages are definitely juxtaposed in the scenes. Another interesting video is “Pet Goat II” (watch here) wherein Obama was portrayed as a puppet on a string as he goes about clowning. This video is heavy with the occult. There are uncanny parallels of Obama’s actions in the Obamacare clip and what is shown in Pet Goat II. What is the message? It takes a discerning spirit to see beyond.

1 Samuel 15:23
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
